Certified Translation in Tunisia

Official translations by sworn translators, accepted by courts, ministries, universities and embassies.

When a foreign authority, a Tunisian ministry or a university asks for an "official" or "sworn" translation, an ordinary translation will be refused. Our certified translations are produced by sworn translators (traducteurs assermentés) and bear their stamp and signature, so they are accepted for visa files, residence permits, equivalence of diplomas, marriages abroad and court proceedings.

We work from and into Arabic, French and English every day, and cover more than ten other languages through our international network. Before we start, we check what the receiving authority actually requires — certified translation alone, translation plus apostille, or translation plus consular legalization — so you do not pay twice.

Prices depend on the document, languages, deadline and destination country, so every file gets an individual, free quote.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a certified and a normal translation?

A certified (sworn) translation is signed and stamped by a translator sworn before the courts, which gives it legal value. A normal translation has no official standing and is usually refused by administrations.

Will my translation be accepted abroad?

Most countries accept a Tunisian sworn translation, sometimes with an apostille or consular legalization on top. A few authorities (for example in Germany or Spain) prefer translators sworn in their own country — we check this with you first and organise the right option through our international network.

Can I send scans instead of originals?

Yes. For most translations a clear scan or photo is enough to start. Some authorities want the translation physically attached to the original or to a certified copy; we tell you when that is the case.

How long does it take?

Standard civil-status documents are usually ready within 1–3 working days. Long or technical files are scheduled on request, and urgent service is available.
