Interpreting in Tunisia

Consecutive, simultaneous, liaison and remote interpreters for meetings, notaries, courts and conferences.

Some situations cannot wait for a written translation: signing a deed before a notary, a hearing, a factory audit, a negotiation or a medical appointment. Our interpreters master both the languages and the context — legal, commercial, technical or medical — and respect strict confidentiality.

We provide consecutive and liaison interpreting for meetings and appointments, simultaneous interpreting for conferences (with equipment on request) and remote interpreting by phone or video when travel is not practical. Tunisian Arabic (Derja) is covered as well as Modern Standard Arabic.

Prices depend on the document, languages, deadline and destination country, so every file gets an individual, free quote.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book an interpreter?

As early as possible — ideally one week for meetings and several weeks for conferences. Short-notice requests are often possible, especially for Arabic, French and English.

Do you travel outside Tunis?

Yes, our interpreters cover the whole country, including Sfax, Sousse, Monastir, Djerba and the interior regions. Travel costs are included in the quote.

Consecutive or simultaneous?

Consecutive suits small meetings and appointments; simultaneous is used for conferences with several listeners and requires booths or a tour-guide system. We advise you on the best format.

Can I get a sworn interpreter for court?

Yes, for court and official proceedings we provide interpreters who are accepted by the relevant authority.
